The sky had been particularly spectacular - a clearly defined edge was under-lit by the setting sun. Unfortunately I couldn't get myself and my camera into a position to take a picture of it in time. Instead here are car lights with reflections / refractions from water drops on my car's windscreen. |

Baked Apple The result of leaving an apple in the oven too long - or maybe, if I understand my Mum right, it was 'cos I didn't score around the apple. |

Interior of the Lloyds building, London This is the main area of the building. At one end flights of escalators climb up to the higher floors. Above the curved glass roof lets in the daylight. And finally, swinging around, you can see the pettern of the lights in the ceiling. |
|
Photo of a photo A large display panel shows pictures of the staff in the building - just so it doesn't look empty when they all go home?. |
|
The Lifts The lifts are on the outside of the building and are glass boxes with a the minimal metal - just the floor and sections around the doors. I didn't feel vertigo in them but I could quite understand people doing so. |
