Concorde Haiku
A sleek luxury;
Warm windows and cold champagne
Breaking barriers.
Roar and sonic boom
Your flying signature; soon
Your final landing.
One flight, all I took
Memories to keep, pictures
And a menu card.
So high and so fast,
Final judgement not beauty
But economics.
An era passes.
I will think of you again
When the geese fly south.
